Broker Assistant - Remote
We are looking for a Broker Assistant with at least 2 years of experience working alongside an Australian-based mortgage broker. This is a full-time, work-from-home role that offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Lodgement:
- Proactively follow up with clients for all necessary supporting documents
- Organize, rename, and review documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ensure all privacy consent forms are signed and conduct essential credit checks
- Request upfront valuations from multiple banks
- Negotiate pricing discounts with various banks on behalf of clients
- Keep Trello updated with every action performed on client files
- Assist clients with enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
Lodgement:
- Enter and update CRM and AOL data accurately per the broker’s submission notes
- Generate essential NCCP compliance documents
- Prepare and assist with the Verification of Identity (VOI) process when required
- Upload all supporting documents onto CRM and AOL platforms
- Create application forms for client signing
- Conduct QA and compliance checks to ensure everything is in order before submitting applications
- Inform clients of loan lodgement and manage expectations around SLAs
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with an Australian mortgage broker
- Proficiency in CRM systems and mortgage-related software
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring all client files are accurate and complete
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive and client-centric approach with a keen eye for efficiency
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
